26/12/2024 - Teachers/Coaches, contact us for Term 2, 2025 Professional Development PD session. 60 minutes, modelling the skills and basic systems that are the basis of success for Primary and Secondary school children including games like Spikeball @ Triple Ball, how to teach and ensure kids have apropriate ‘ready positions’ for each skill and how to analyse skills. Teaching success and what real success is and how to record success. The first session will be run at Dorset Primary School, Tuesday April 22nd from 5.00 - 6.00pm. 14/12/2024 - We are partnering with Victoria’s first ever Primary School Volleyball Academy. Dorset Primary School will embark on a volleyball academy where participants will have access to high level coaching from former State and National Junior team Head Coach Dan Higgins. Dorset will also offer strength and conditioning suited to each individual and the chance to play high level volleyball, all during school time. Kids in Grades 3-6 will have the chance to learn and enjoy an Olympic Sport on a weekly basis. If you’d like to learn more, contact us.

8/12/2024 - Starting February 2025 we have women’s volleyball training and matches beginning in Melboure’s east in Donvale from 4.15-5.45pm. Contact us for more information. Come along by yourself or bring some friends. This is a kid friendly place. Bring you young ones, they can wait on the sidelines or they might choose to join our volleyball academy on adjacent courts. Play 4 vs 4 volleyball and get some fitness and fun at the same time.

30/8/2024 - Sessions for individuals and small groups of children and adults have begun on Saturday and Sunday afternoon in Croydon. If you want some specialty sessions working on areas you want to improve on then contact us to find out more.

Post Olympics we offer the best chance for your child to learn or enhance their volleyball skills in Melbournes inner east and eastern suburbs. We are now located out of Donvale Christian Colege on Sunday afternoon, Dorset Primary School Croydon on Monday from 5.30pm and Camberwell High School on Friday from 5.30pm. Warm ups begin from 5.15pm. Contact us to find out more.

Our new Academy venue has started for all local children from all primary schools in Camberwell. This Academy has been established for children from 6 - 18 years in the area who attend Primary School and secondary school. Contact us for more information danhigginsau@hotmail.com.

Volley Coach Volleyball Academy has three main venues, Camberwell High School, Prospect Hill Road Camberwell on Friday afternoons from 5.15 pm (warm up), Dorset Primary School, Prospect Hill Road Croydon on Monday from 5.15 pm (warm uptime) and in Donvale at Donvale Christian College, Tindales Rd, Donvale on Sunday afternoon. Warm up begins at 4.15pm - 5.45 pm. We also have a 2nd session in Croydon on Monday evening for more advanced volleyball players. We coach girls and boys from 6 - 18 years of age. We offer excellent volleyball coaching from beginner volleyball classes to advanced for kids from any school. We only use experienced coaches. You wont see us with 15 year old inexperienced kids running training sessions. We also offer private volleyball coaching for individuals or teams, specialist sessions and camps. The specialist sessions are open to anyone interested.

We are independent from clubs and have no interest in becoming a club. This means the emphasis on winning is far less and developing the whole player is most important. We can assist you to find the best club that might suit you. If you are interested in kids volleyball, beginner volleyball or advanced volleyball to elite volleyball then contact us for more information and fee information.

Players from Burwood, Kew volleyball, Hawthorn, Balwyn, Surrey Hills, Toorak, Malvern, Canterbury, Mont Albert, Glen Iris, Ashburton, Ashwood, Doncaster, Donvale, Templestowe, Eltham and surrounds are welcome and should contact us via email at danhigginsau@hotmail.com and arrange to come down for a trial. No experience needed. We also consider offering a scholarship to players who might not get the chance to play otherwise. We offer beginner right up to elite levels.

Come and see how we are unique. We don’t put players into a pidgeon hole like school and club teams do. You dont get told that you now play in any specific role. We coach each player to become the best they can be in every skill. Come and be part of our new program. Players should arrive by 15 minutes early so we can start on time. At our Croydon Venue

We offer 4 separate groups on Monday. 5.30 pm - 7.00 pm for 6 - 18 year old players both boys and girls in our Junior Academy. Training includes skills, games and an introduction to strength and conditioning and Sport Psychology from Industry experts.

From 7.00 pm - 8.30 pm on Monday we offer an Advanced Academy for boys and girls 12 - 18 years of age. Our training groups depend on age, maturity and skill level. Come down for a trial. Contact us and see your kids enjoy themselves in a fantastic non-contact sport. Players from Croydon, Boronia, Knox, Kilsyth, Bayswater, Vermont, Ringwood, Lilydale, Warrandyte, Eltham, Templestowe, Doncaster, Nunawading, Box Hill, Wantirna, Knox and surrounding areas should come and check us out.
